We have noble ambitions at Independent Family Doctors, all of which revolve around giving you the most individualized care imaginable. We're diligently working to change the face of family medicine to one that is uniquely focused on the patient.
Independent Family Doctors was opened in 2017 by Dr. Josh. Starting with just a handful of patients, he grew his patient panel over the years and is now looking to educate more of the community about the benefit of direct care.
Independent Family Doctors hopes to educate the community about health care choice. Our current patients would agree that the freedom of a membership based health plan empowers them to finally take care of their own needs, without waiting for approvals.

We are Dr. Josh, Jane & Andrea...
...and we're not you’re typical primary care team!
Dr. Josh is a board-certified family physician who got tired of 10-minute appointments and rushed care. So he left the hospital to build something better: Independent Family Doctors. He's passionate about nutrition and whole-body health, not just treating symptoms. Outside the clinic, you'll find him in his woodshop or knee-deep in a home-improvement project.
Jane is the COO of Independent Family Doctors and usually the first friendly face patients and business owners get to know. She’s been in healthcare since she was 15. Today, she works closely with patients and local businesses, helping them understand how DPC can make getting care affordable, personal, and accessible. When she’s not working, she’s happiest hanging out with her family at home. Or at the beach because Jane loves summer time!
Andrea Berry, MA-C is a certified medical assistant who's been caring for patients since 2016. At Independent Family Doctors, she draws blood, helps with wound care, answers questions, and makes sure people feel comfortable. Andrea brings a warm, practical approach to direct primary care. Outside work, she's into DIY projects, camping, hiking, and reading. She’s also an animal lover. Over the years she's had dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, and enough animals that she could happily run her own petting zoo.
